The Golf Club Scottsdale ("GCS") wants you to feel secure when visiting our Web site and we are committed to maintaining your privacy when doing so. This Privacy Policy discloses the information we receive from visitors to our site, how this information is used and maintained, and provides contact information for questions or concerns regarding such information and this Policy.
Information We Gather and How We Use It
Our Web site has two areas – a public area generally accessible to anyone, and a password-protected members' area accessible only by registered members of GCS.
Public Area of Site
In the public area of the site, visitors may voluntarily provide basic contact information (such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail addresses) that we use to respond to inquiries about GCS, including regarding membership.
Members' Area of Site
Authenticated Members can access the members' area. The members' area may be used by members to view membership news, access the membership roster and update personal information.
Log Files
As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically when someone visits our site and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, date/time stamps, and clickstream data, and may reflect browser types, internet service providers (ISP), referring/exit pages, or operating systems.
We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site and to track users' movements around the site. We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.
Cookies and Clear GIFs
We also use "cookies" and "clear gifs" to track Web traffic and behavior on the Web site. Cookies are stored on your computer and can be removed by following directions in your Internet browser's "help" file. Clear gifs are present on the Web site and track the online movements of Web users. We use clear gifs to better manage content on our Web site and do not tie the information to any personally identifiable information.
Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. Unfortunately, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure and, although we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
No Sharing With Third Parties
We do not share, sell, assign, transfer, or disclose your information to other people or entities except to the extent necessary to provide you with the services you request on our site.
